Asthma, a long term inflammatory process takes place inside lungs in airway system. It's reversible and is the complete dilatation of smooth muscles of airways of lungs and narrowing their diameter resulting in production of excessive thick mucus that leads sudden onset of attack. The symptoms which are present in a patient like shortness of breathe, cough, wheezing and chest tighthening & discomfort.
Depending on patient asthma worsens in night or in day during exertion.The causes are genetically inherited and by environmental factors.
Presentations:
The associated symptoms in asthma may be GERD,Rhinosinusitis, OSA, Anxiety and mood disorders. Asthma is triggered by alot of factors include inhalation of chemicals, allergens, pollens, drugs, smoking, chimneys (chula cooking ) and indoor dust and mites.

Treatment is generally given in two forms short term SABA and long term LABA, Mastcell stabilizers and LT receptor antagonists.
